A moisture meter can measure the moisture content of everything from the air (relative humidity) to construction and building materials (concrete, wood) to biomass and agricultural products (hay, straw, grain, corn, beans, pellets) to solid waste (pulp, slurry) and beyond.Rapid Moisture Testers consists of two components: a balance unit and a heating unit. To measure the moisture content, a sample's start weight is first recorded. Afterwards, a halogen lamp heats and dries the sample while the balance continuously records the sample's weight.Moisture meters (otherwise known as moisture detectors) are used to measure the amount of water within a material sample. This measurement allows the user to find out whether the moisture levels are appropriate, or if adjustments need to be made.
