Threadaid
Threadaid one of the earliest in this country, mainly to manufacture thread rolls and regrinding them, was started in the year 1974 and exclusive suppliers of thread rolls as an ancillary to M/s. Praga Tools. From 1997, Threadaid became a family partnership firm of Mr. Desappa, his wife Yashodhra and his two daughters, Reena Charles and Rowena Rinku Peters. Mrs. Yashodhra looks after company administration and Mr. Desappa is responsible for designing various machines and tooling for Spline and Thread rolling. Since 1998, threadaid manufactures CNC/Hydraulic Spline and Thread rolling machines of their own design and from 2005, CNC Rack Rolling machines with high precision racks.
