GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The setup will consist of four cylinder, four stroke, turbocharged CRDI Diesel engine connected to water cooled eddy current type dynamometer for loading. It is provided with air tank, exhaust gas calorimeter. It is provided with necessary instruments for combustion pressure, crank-angle, airflow, fuel flow, water flow, temperatures and load measurements. These signals are interfaced to computer through high speed data acquisition device. The set up has stand-alone panel consisting of air box, fuel tank (Diesel) ,fuel measuring unit, transmitters for air and fuel flow measurements.
SOFTWARE (ENGINE TEST BENCH:
National instruments Lab View based Powerful software for real time data measurement, Auto Zoom graphs, Analog and Digital Display of data in the computer, store indefinite on of graphs for analysis. Facility to Export Data to HTML. The Data Acquisition Software is developed by Technical Teaching (D) Equipments.
