Henrich focke founded the company "focke, achgelis & Co. GmbH" on the premises of today's "MBB PALFINGER GmbH" in hoykenkamp in 1937. The company was dedicated to the development of helicopters. The premises and building of an old margarine factory were bought, cleaned and redesigned to become the company's quarters.
