Ventri Orifice And Flow Nozzle Apparatus
Aim: To determine the co-efficient of discharge for venturimeter, orifice meter and nozzle meter at different flow rates.
Consists of:
· Venturimeter in one separate pipe line and orifice meter in one separate pipe line suitable for 1" BSP pipe with manometer tapping connections at suitable points at downstream & upstream of the meters and double column manometer for measurement of pressure drop. The pipe lines are mounted on sturdy stand.
· A centrifugal pump of capacity 1HP
· All interchangeable pipe connections with flow control valve and flexible tubing for manometer .(acrylic manometer for better reliability)
· Sump tank and collecting tank with drain valve and piezometer for collecting tank with butterfly valve for quick operation with overflow facility.
· Ball Valves for manometer, venturi meter for longer life / reliability.
