Sharadatronic Instruments was established in the year 1988 and since then we are engaged in the manufacturing, supplying and exporting of Quality Control Testing Equipment for Lighting Industries. Ours is a permanent SSI unit registered with Govt. of Karnataka. SPECIFICATION FOR EARTH RESISTANCE TEST UNIT
Scope :- This unit is suitable to carry out to check the resistance of the body of the LED lamps and luminaire with earth terminals. This test is conducted as per IS 10322 (Part 1) : 2014 Cl. 7.2.3.
Description :- Metal parts of luminaires which may become live in the event of an insulation fault and which are not accessible when the luminaire has been mounted, but are liable to come in contact with the supporting surface, shall be permanently and reliably connected to an earthing terminal. This test is conducted as per IS 10322 (Part 1) : 2014 Cl. 7.2.3.
Specification :-
1. Construction :- This equipment is single phase construction type heavy gauge steel with scratch resistance powder coat finish.
2. Current source:- Minimum 10 ampere source with No-load voltage not exceeding 12V with appropriate protections is provided. Continuous current delivering capability for at least 1 minute for which a suitable step down transformer is provided.
3. Voltage measurement:- Ability to measure the voltage drop between the earthing terminal or earthing contact and the accessible metal part.
