Single HTS Process Reactors
A High-Temperature Shift (HTS) reactor is a component in hydrogen production processes, specifically designed to convert carbon monoxide (CO) and steam (H2O) into hydrogen (H2) and carbon dioxide (CO2). It utilizes a catalyst, typically iron-chromium oxide based, operating at elevated temperatures (350-420°C). The HTS reactor is often the first stage in a multi-stage shift process, preceding a Low-Temperature Shift (LTS) reactor.
