Type Engine Usage/Application College Laboratory Test Component Engine Test Brand MODTECH Fuel Type Petrol The Rig is made of new In-line 4-cylinder SOHC/DOHC engine with variable intake manifold, VVTi, turbocharger mounted on a sturdy iron frame with Castor Wheels, The petrol engines will be Multi point fuel injection system Engine. The training Rig will help to simulate engine start-up, speedup,slowdown and other actions so as to illustrate the structure and working principle of Petrol engines. The training rig will comprise of an actual size, working and fully functional Petrol engine with all accessories such as engine meterassembly, Radiator, Silencer, Exhaust system, Meter cluster, ECU, Accelerator, Fuel tank illustrating the structure and working process. Multicolour ciruit/wiring diagram will be made available on the training Rig printed on suitable board such that it is clearly visible for the trainees. Terminals will be provided for operator to detect various sensors, actuators, electrical signals for engine control unit, such as resistive, voltage, current, frequency and wave form signals will be provided on to the illustrative circuit/wiring diagram.
