MEL/MF Total Coliform Lab
The MEL/MF Total Coliform Laboratory is a portable microbiology kit that can be used for small-scale or remote testing. It includes all the equipment and accessories needed to perform microbiological analysis, such as:

The MEL/MF Total Coliform Laboratory can be used in a small-scale microbiology lab or in a remote field location.
Total coliform counts are a general indicator of the sanitary condition of a water supply. Coliforms are bacteria that can be found in soil, water that has been influenced by surface water, and in human or animal waste.
Coliform test results are reported as "Coliform Absent" or "Coliform Present". "Absent" means that coliforms were not present in the sample, and "Present" means that coliforms were present in the sample.
