Digital services

Digital services are essentially any service delivered electronically, often over the Internet. This includes streaming your favorite series, managing your finances through an app, or automating your business processes. Information and communication services: these are the types of digital services that facilitate interaction between individuals or between individuals and organizations. Examples: email services, instant messaging apps, video conferencing platforms, social media platforms, and voice over IP (VoIP) services. Digital services are a business construct, defined by a set of processes and flows that combine in a way that allows consumers to engage with some entity, like a business. “Online shopping” is a digital service, and thus the experience you have while engaged with that service is what becomes the digital experience.
