A round half of all non-renewable resource mankind consumes are used in construction, making it one of the least sustainableindustries in the world. However, mankind has spent the majority of its existence trying to manipulate the natural environment. Recently we held COP12, Which extensively speaks about the need of sustainable development in all the sectors. Which in long run can save humankindand the environment in a better way. Paris Convention is not our 1stattempt to unite the world towards sustainability, it goes back to 1972, when UN conference on the human environment was held in Stockholm.Several declarations were made regarding to resource management,Pollution control, Environmental policy etc.. Now the question is in spiteof all these declarations and environmental pacts still our pollution levelare rising and we continue to form more rules, regulation, andinternational pacts, again and again.
