GMAC Associates is a total industrial motor stock list and supplier based in Coimbatore. Founded by D. Viswanathan in 2009, the company has grown steadily into the largest stocking industrial motor distributor in South India.
Our commitment to excellence enabled us to excel in gearbox manufacturing as well. In 2014 we established a manufacturing unit for worm gear reducers under the brand name MACTEC.

Gear Box-Worm
A Worm Geared Motor is a compact and versatile electric motor system consisting of a worm gearbox and an attached motor. This geared motor is known for its efficiency, reliability, and ability to provide high torque output, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial machinery. Common applications include conveyors, agitators, packaging equipment, and automated machinery.
The Worm Geared Motor comes with a power rating upto 7.5 kW and a torque up to 1550 Nm. They have the gearbox ratio for desired speed reduction, mounting options, and motor voltage. They are available with various pole configurations, such as 2 poles (3000 RPM), 4 poles (1500 RPM), or 6 poles (1000 RPM), catering to diverse industrial needs.
