Fail Safe Brake
D.C. Fail Safe Brakes are operating on D.C. Supply and used to stop motion where emergency stop is required. The Brake is normally in ON Condition ( In Braking Condition) and when D.C. Supply is given to the coil, the Armature Plate attracts towards the Brake Stator against the springs. When the supply is cut off, the brake will engage by means of spring pressure.
