The equipment consists of under water probe and electronic meter, both connected by cable. Underwater probe : Savanius rotor attached with contact- less electro- inductive pick up and facility for automatic stabilization, despite the tilting of the suspension cable, in order to avoid the Cosine Angle Error due to tilting of the sensor. Current range 0 to 400 cms/sec., +/-1% (Other higher ranges available.)Instantaneous/current values are displayed in its LCD displayed. Display : Digital LCD Power : Self-contained 12 V chargeable battery, with provision for operation on 12 V external battery charger. Data recorder: The data of water velocity and its direction can be recorded with time at user defined intervals. The data can be exported to Microsoft Excel for detailed analysis. Depth of operation: 30m, (Available in different ranges up to 200 m)Supplied with strong carrying case for easy and safe transportation. Higher ranges above 50 m is supplied with hand operated winch for handling the long cable.
