Shuttles Picking Sticks For Rutic Looms
The object of picking is to insert the weft yarn through the warp shed during weaving. In this mechanism, a carrier known as shuttle carries the weft yarn in a package called the “pirn”. Figure 3.1 indicates the insertion of weft yarn by passing the shuttle through the warp shed.
